Dr. Elizabeth Davis

Dr. Davis is very excited to have joined the Burke Forest Vet team! She is originally from St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.  After graduating from high school, she left the island to attend Brown University.  She graduated from there with honors in 2006 with a bachelor of science degree in Biology. From there she went on to attend the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian.

Following her graduation in 2010, she went on to complete a rotating internship in medicine and surgery at New England Animal Medical Center in Massachusetts. Afterwards, she was invited to stay to complete a three year surgical residency at the same hospital.

Dr. Davis moved to Virginia in 2015 with her husband, who is an ear, nose and throat physician in Alexandria. They have 3 daughters, and a handsome little dog, who definitely thinks he is a human. When she isn’t busy taking care of her family, Dr. Davis loves running and has completed several marathons and half marathons. Her passion for veterinary medicine started at a very young age and has only continued to grow with time.
